SKW Schwarz advises Exela Technologies on acquisition of Asterion International Group
Exela Technologies, Inc., Irving/Texas, USA (Exela), acquired Asterion International Group to expand in Europe.
A team of SKW Schwarz led by partner Dr. Kolja Petrovicki comprehensively advised Exela at this cross border transaction, together with its partner law firms PDGB (French Law), ELEGIS (Belgian Law), Kennedy van der Laan (Dutch Law), Carabba & Partners (Italian Law) and Hjort (Norwegian Law).
Exela is one of the largest global providers of platforms for business process automation (BPA). With 22,000 employees serving over 3,500 customers across more than 50 countries, it is a leader in workflow automation, attended and unattended cognitive automation, digital mailrooms, print communications, and payment processing with deployments across the globe. The acquisition expands Exela’s European business to over $ 200 million in annual revenue.
