SKW Schwarz has advised Qiado GmbH, a transformation consultancy based in Bernau am Chiemsee, on its acquisition by EY GmbH & Co. KG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft.
EY has acquired Qiado by way of an asset deal as part of the expansion of its Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) offering. With effect from 1 January 2026, Qiado will be fully integrated into EY GmbH & Co. KG WPG, and the Qiado brand will be discontinued.
In Germany, EY’s FAAS practice comprises 355 professionals and 28 partners. Through the acquisition of Qiado, the team will be expanded by approximately 40 professionals specializing in contract lease management, financial process optimization and SAP transformation services.
