Justyna Niwinski-Wellkamp advises on commercial law with a clear focus on the banking and finance sector and represents her clients in court throughout Germany.

Her main areas of expertise are banking contract law, payment services law, banking supervisory law, and money laundering compliance. She assists banks, savings banks, development banks, fintechs, and financial service providers in structuring, negotiating, and implementing credit and payment service framework agreements, as well as in regulatory requirements under the German Banking Act (KWG), Payment Services Act (ZAG), and Securities Trading Act (WpIG). She handles both the enforcement of claims and the defense against claims for her clients – from complex financing to disputes in payment transactions. She owes her deep understanding of internal processes to her many years of experience as a corporate lawyer in the legal department of a major bank.
