Dr. Kern specializes in corporate and inheritance succession, including all issues relating to inheritance law, family law, corporate law, and tax law. In addition to establishing and reorganizing family companies and family foundations, Dr. Kern focuses on the drafting of wills, inheritance contracts, prenuptial agreements, and durable powers of attorney for health care. He also regularly advises on the dissolution of complex financial interrelations in divorce and inheritance proceedings.
His legal advice is always centered on pursuing economic and timely solutions with the least possible emotional burden for clients.
Dr. Kern represents his clients throughout Germany in cases before inheritance, family, and fiscal courts. In addition, Dr. Kern conducts mediations – individually and with co-mediators – in property disputes and in divorce cases.
