SKW Schwarz advises shareholders of Münchner Verlagsgruppe on sale to Bonnier

SKW Schwarz advised the owners and founders of Münchner Verlagsgruppe GmbH on the sale of all shares to Bonnier Media Deutschland GmbH. The transaction is subject to approval by the merger control authorities. Münchner Verlagsgruppe is a publisher specializing in the publication of non-fiction books. The group comprises publishers riva, mvg, FinanzBuch, Redline, and fiction book publisher Lago. Christian Jund, founder of Münchner Verlagsgruppe, and the entire publishing team, including management, will remain with the company.

Bonnier Media Deutschland GmbH is a subsidiary of Swedish media group Bonnier, which includes publishers such as arsEdition, Carlsen, Piper, Thienemann-Esslinger, and Ullstein Buchverlage.
