Dr. Gerd Seeliger to join SKW Schwarz in the fields of Private Clients and Tax Law

Effective July 1, 2016, Dr. Gerd Seeliger will join SKW Schwarz as equity partner. Gerd Seeliger comes from the law firm of CMS, where he had been an equity partner since 1999. Gerd Seeliger has an extensive vita. From 1984 to 1988, he had worked at Peat Marwick (now KPMG) in Munich, where, in 1988, he passed the tax consultant exam and was appointed Manager of the Tax Department. Also in 1988, he joined the law firm of Fiedler & Forster, where he was admitted as partner in 1993, and which merged with other firms to form CMS Hasche Sigle in 1999.

He specializes in advising family businesses and high net worth private clients and supports them in national and cross-border wealth management and estate planning. He also advises them on structuring their corporate or family assets and on implementing corporate and asset succession.

In addition, Dr. Seeliger focuses on national and international inheritance and corporate transformation law. On a regular basis, he advises his clients on establishing and managing charitable and family foundations.
