What motivates you?
To be able to contribute to the creation of music, film recordings, brands, products, concepts, or content in general, how they are sustainably and successfully marketed or how companies and individuals are preserved in their identity with their history is what motivates me and has always filled me with great satisfaction.
Götz Schneider-Rothhaar is head of the music practice group and represents individuals and companies nationwide and internationally in all issues relating to music, TV, Internet, digital content, the press, celebrities, advertising, photography, online trading, distribution, and branding. In addition, his practice focuses on German and foreign collecting societies as well as the legal support of entertainment and cultural events. Götz Schneider-Rothhaar also regularly works as a litigator in all these areas.

Götz Schneider-Rothhaar is a regular participant at panel discussions and conferences at professional events such as Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg), MIDEM (Cannes / France), Eurosonic Norderslaag (Groningen / The Netherlands), and Musikmesse (Frankfurt am Main).
He also gives guest lectures, most recently at the Royal Academy of Music (London / England).
Götz Schneider-Rothhaar is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers IAEL and the “Certified Expert in Copyright and Media Law” Committee of the Frankfurt Bar Association.
He trains Certified Experts in Copyright and Media Law and is a lecturer at University of Mainz’s Master’s Program LL.M.-Media Law.
