SKW Schwarz appoints two female partners and one male partner from its own ranks
SKW Schwarz appoints current Counsel Alexandra Streichfuss, Franziska Ladiges and Dr. Jens-Hendrik Kern to the partnership, effective January 1, 2023.
With Alexandra Streichfuss, SKW Schwarz strengthens the partner ranks of its market-leading media practice. Based in Munich, she joined SKW Schwarz in 2019 to work in the area of media, copyright and entertainment law. Previously, she worked for ten years as Head of Business and Legal for a leading global distribution company (cinema and TV content) as well as for GEMA in the area of broadcast and online licensing.
Franziska Ladiges has been part of the IT and data protection practice of SKW Schwarz in Frankfurt since 2011. The specialist lawyer for information technology law advises, among other things, on data protection compliance and international data transfer; she also regularly carries out data protection quick checks in companies. With many years of experience, she drafts contracts for the development, deployment and transfer of software, as well as general terms and conditions, and supports companies in setting up online stores and Internet platforms.
Dr. Jens-Hendrik Kern specializes in corporate and asset succession, including the associated inheritance law, family law, corporate law and tax issues. The specialist lawyer for inheritance law and for tax law has been with SKW Schwarz since 2016. His areas of focus include the establishment and restructuring of family companies and foundations, as well as the dissolution of complex asset networks in the course of divorce and inheritance.
"The continued growth of our partnership from within our own team demonstrates that lawyers who want to take on entrepreneurial responsibility in addition to providing professional advice on a client's case have real career opportunities at SKW Schwarz," said Dr. Stephan Morsch, the firm's newly elected CEO. "We congratulate Alexandra Streichfuss, Franziska Ladiges and Jens-Hendrik Kern on their career step and very much look forward to working with them to create new momentum in three key practice areas."
SKW Schwarz currently has 67 partners at four locations. In total, around 130 lawyers work for the firm in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich. Pursuing innovative approaches is a particular characteristic of the firm's forward-looking advice.
