SKW Schwarz advises shareholders of Grob Aircraft SE on sale to Helsing

The commercial law firm advised the shareholders of Grob Aircraft SE on the sale of the company to Helsing, a European defence and AI technology company.

The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Headquartered in Tussenhausen-Mattsies, Grob Aircraft is an established manufacturer of military training aircraft, renowned worldwide for its G 120 series. With decades of experience in the aviation sector, the company plays a pivotal role in training military pilots across multiple continents.

Through this transaction, Helsing, which specialises in artificial intelligence and defence technology, is acquiring all shares in Grob Aircraft SE. The acquisition is designed to strengthen European technological sovereignty in the defence sector and integrate AI-driven capabilities into modern aviation platforms.
