Counsel
Dr. Andreas Hitzel advises companies in all areas of commercial and corporate law, in particular on corporate acquisitions, structural and transformation measures, joint ventures, participation by investors as well as corporate governance matters and advice to managers and boards. Another focus of Dr. Hitzel's work lies at the overlaps between corporate law and real estate and inheritance law, mainly in the acquisition of real estate through share deals, the structuring of real estate portfolios and the corporate governance of family-owned businesses. Dr. Hitzel also represents clients in these areas before state courts and arbitration tribunals, especially in the context of release proceedings, disputes over the legality of shareholder resolutions and award proceedings.
In addition to medium-sized and family-owned companies, Dr. Hitzel's main practice areas include clients from English-speaking countries and advice on cross-border matters. His clients often come from the IT & Digital Business, Life Sciences & Health, Media & Entertainment and Automotive industries.
