Dr. Sascha Pres, a partner at SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte in Berlin, has been awarded the Client Choice Award 2020 in the category of trademark law in Germany.
Sascha Pres was praised for his “excellent work”, as a “good negotiator” and “excellent knowledge of German and EU trademark law”.
Since 2005, the rating platform Client Choice has been awarding lawyers all over the world for exceptional customer service and quality of advice. The research includes a survey among subscribers to the Lexology portal, feedback from participants in international events for corporate lawyers and entries on the Client Choice website. The following criteria, among others, are evaluated: Quality of advice, entrepreneurial approach, industry knowledge, strategic thinking, transparency of billing, effective communication, sharing of expertise, project management, use of technology, loyalty and ethics. The results of this survey will be used to create shortlists by country and discipline; short-listed candidates will then be invited to submit up to five client representatives for follow-up interviews with the research team.
The winners of the Clients Choice Awards 2020 were honoured at a gala in London on 6 February 2020. In total, Clients Choice awarded 490 winners from 82 countries this year.
