SKW Schwarz appoints two new partners at the beginning of the year

SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte appoints two partners among internal promotions: Dr. Andreas Bareiss and Jan Prielipp, based in the law firm’s Berlin office, will be included in the partnership effective January 1, 2017. Dr. Andreas Bareiss (36) advises in media and entertainment law, particularly in the movie and television industries. His expertise includes the structuring and legal implementation of international movie and TV productions as well as copyright and personality rights. Dr. Andreas Bareiss’s clients include German and foreign producers, distributors, broadcasters, and investors, but also private individuals. Dr. Andreas Bareiss joined SKW Schwarz jointly with Dr. Martin Diesbach from Noerr in 2015 and will expand inter-office collaboration of the media practices, in particular between Berlin and Munich. Jan Prielipp (42) advises and represents companies in all matters pertaining to real estate law. He focuses on the legal support of construction projects and larger real estate-specific projects in property and facility management as well as on strategic advice in tenancy law. His clients include large public real estate and residential construction companies, well-known private real estate companies, German and foreign construction companies, listed stock corporations, and various social agencies. With Jan Prielipp, SKW Schwarz’s real estate law practice continues to expand strategically in commercial tenancy law. Simultaneously with the partner appointments, renowned trademark lawyer Dr. Ulrich Hildebrandt will join SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte in Berlin in January 2017, coming to the firm from Lubberger Lehment. In September 2016, Dr. Volker Wodianka, LL.M. had joined SKW Schwarz as partner in the firm’s IT and Digital Business practice in Hamburg. With effect from January 1, 2017, SKW Schwarz is comprised of 64 partners and 58 lawyers at its offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, and Munich.
