The Trademark Modernization Act (TMA) was signed into law on December 27, 2020, and will be implemented by December 27, 2021. Shane Delsman (Godfrey & Kahn) was one of the lawyers who participated in the drafting of this law. He and fellow TerraLex member and IPLT co-chair, Magnus Hirsch (SKW Schwarz) will go over the key provisions of the TMA for companies both in and out of the United States.
