SKW Schwarz advises shareholders of Userlike on sale of shares to Lime

SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte advised the shareholders of chatbot provider Userlike on the sale of 90% of its shares to Lime AB.

The Swedish software developer is investing almost 20 million euros in the Cologne-based start-up to expand its portfolio and gain a foothold in the German market. Userlike will continue to operate as an independent company with its own product line within the listed Lime Group.

The Cologne-based SaaS company Userlike, founded in 2011 by Timoor Taufig and David Voswinkel, now serves around 2,000 companies from 50 countries with chatbots and website messaging services. Customers include Allianz, Lufthansa, Porsche and BMW. Since 2014, Userlike has grown by about 30% annually.

Lime Technologies Group is a listed company specializing in CRM, based in Lund, Sweden.
