Dr. Stefan Peintinger advises German and international clients on all aspects of IT Law & Digital Business. He clerked for a state data protection authority for the private sector. In 2013, he received his master degree from Georgetown Law, Washington, D.C., with a focus on Privacy, IT and IP law. Furthermore, he holds a doctor degree from the University of Heidelberg. He has published his thesis on price transparency with regard to private contracts.
Dr. Stefan Peintinger is advising clients on the ongoing compliance with data protection regulations as well as with regard to developing new business models in line with data protection and data security regulations. He advises SMEs as well as global enterprises with a focus on international data protection and unfair competition matters concerning multiple jurisdictions.
New technologies and digital businesses are his key areas of interest and work. His practice includes both out-of-court advice and litigation. Last but not least, he is frequently publishing on various topics with regard to data protection, IP/IT, unfair competition and eCommerce law.
