Wirtschaftswoche Top Law Firms: SKW Schwarz Partners listed among the most renowned lawyers for Data Protection and IT

In its current rankings of “Top Law Firms” and “Top Lawyers,” German magazine Wirtschaftswoche recognizes four partners of SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte in Data Protection Law and IT Law.

Nikolaus Bertermann and Dr. Oliver Hornung are among the 35 lawyers who are particularly recommended nationwide for data protection law, Dr. Matthias Orthwein and Stefan C. Schicker are among the 50 most renowned lawyers for IT law in Germany.

The lists of top law firms and top lawyers are based on a survey conducted by Handelsblatt Research Institute, where more than 830 lawyers from 107 law firms were asked to name their most renowned peers. On the basis of the survey results, a jury of experts then selected the most highly recommended lawyers.

SKW Schwarz advises the IT & Digital Business sector nationwide with a total of 42 specialized lawyers. At this year’s Who's Who Legal Awards, the department received the award of “Data: Telecoms and Media Firm of the Year” for the second time in a row.
