SKW Schwarz reinforces employment law practice with Dr. Martin Landauer

SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte strengthened its employment law practice when Dr. Martin Landauer, M.Jur. (Oxford) joined the firm from Noerr as a Partner at the beginning of the new year. The 42-year-old certified expert in employment law will be practicing out of the Munich office. Martin Landauer comprehensively advises national and international clients in individual and collective labor law and in compliance under employment law. He advises employers on employment and service contract matters and represents them in disputes with employees, works councils, staff councils, and trade unions. In the context of complex reorganizations, he supports companies in adjusting staffing levels, relocating and closing operations, as well as relocating functions and transferring operations. His expertise further extends to restructuring corporate and group structures, issues relating to corporate co-determination, and social security law. Applying his long-standing experience, Martin Landauer will also focus particularly on innovative topics in the context of Work 4.0 at SKW Schwarz, such as working in agile team structures and in digitally networked organizations where work is performed independently of specific time and locations.

Martin Landauer joined Noerr in 2012 and was appointed Associated Partner in 2014. He had started his legal career at Gleiss Lutz in Munich in 2009. Previously, following his postgraduate studies at Oxford University in the UK, he worked in legal research at Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Social Law.

“In Martin Landauer we have gained a highly experienced and committed peer who will actively support us in further expanding our employment law practice,” said Dr. Martin Greßlin, Head of the Employment Law department at SKW Schwarz. “We are very pleased to have him join our team effective immediately.”
With the addition of Martin Landauer, SKW Schwarz’s Employment Law practice now comprises 14 lawyers across all of the firm’s offices.
