SKW Schwarz reinforces Corporate practice in Hamburg

Dr. Andrea M. Partikel will join SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte’s Hamburg office as a Partner. Coming from Servatius Rechtsanwälte, the expert for corporate and business law will start her practice at the firm on January 1, 2019.

Dr. Andrea M. Partikel advises German and international clients on corporate and investment acquisitions and sales, joint ventures, and reorganizations. In addition, she advises on succession planning, company formation, shareholders’ meetings, and generally on issues relating to corporate law, corporate governance, and compliance. In all real estate matters, she drafts property and condominium purchase contracts, commercial leases, and construction agreements. Moreover, Dr. Andrea M. Partikel has particular expertise in sports law. She also acts as an arbitrator on a regular basis.

Dr. Andrea M. Partikel worked as a lawyer in Hamburg prior to joining Axel Springer AG (now Axel Springer SE), where she held positions as Chief Legal Advisor of Corporate Legal, department head, authorized signatory, and Deputy Corporate Governance Officer throughout her 13 years at the company. In 2008, she returned to practicing law and joined the firms of Brehm v. Moers Rechtsanwälte and subsequently Servatius Rechtsanwälte.

Following the addition of Dr. Andrea M. Partikel, SKW Schwarz’s Corporate Law / M&A division now comprises twelve partners who, jointly with twelve additional lawyers in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt a.M., Hamburg, and Munich, advise corporations and partnerships of all sizes, including numerous medium-sized and family-run businesses.
