SKW Schwarz advises Dellner group on the acquisition of Pintsch Bubenzer
SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte advised Swedish Dellner group on the acquisition of Pintsch Bubenzer GmbH from Pintsch Bamag Antriebs- und Verkehrstechnik. The company is acquired via Platinum1452., a joint venture of Dellner Brakes AB, a member of Dellner group, and Luxemburg-based investment company Active Ownership Capital S.à.r.l.. The transaction is expected to close by the end of February.
Both Pintsch Bubenzer and Dellner Brakes are suppliers of heavy-duty industrial and marine braking systems. Consolidating their business activities opens improved prospects for expansion to both companies. This is Dellner group’s first major acquisition in Germany.
Pintsch Bubenzer is a subsidiary of Pintsch Bamag Antriebs- und Verkehrstechnik GmbH, a member of Schaltbau Holding AG, and develops industrial braking systems. The company is a leading supplier of crane brakes in the maritime sector and a development partner and system supplier for customers in Asia, the Gulf States, and the U.S..
