SKW Schwarz advises Bosch Software Innovations on acquisition of ProSyst

Bosch Software Innovations GmbH, a subsidiary of the Robert Bosch Group, acquires software developer ProSyst. SKW Schwarz acts as legal adviser to the company on this transaction. The purchase agreements were signed in mid-February; the transaction is still subject to approval by the antitrust authorities. ProSyst develops gateway software and middleware for the internet of things (IoT). The company’s customers include appliance and automotive manufacturers, chip vendors as well as telecommunications and energy service providers. ProSyst has around 110 employees in Cologne, Germany, and Sofia, Bulgaria.

Bosch Software Innovations GmbH is the software and systems house of the Bosch Group. The company develops and runs software and system solutions both for the internet of things and the traditional corporate environment with a focus on mobility, energy and building, and manufacturing. Bosch Software Innovations has some 550 employees at locations in Germany, Singapore, China and the United States.
