SKW Schwarz advises ARCUS Capital AG on the acquisition of Spitznas and Transtools

A group of investors led by ARCUS Capital AG, jointly with BE Beteiligungen Fonds GmbH & Co. KG, acquired Spitznas Maschinenfabrik GmbH and its sister company Transtools Sp. z o. o. Brigitte Theil, General Manager of Spitznas, will acquire a stake in the group. The purchase price has not been disclosed. ARCUS Capital is a Munich-based independent investment company that was founded in 1994. It focuses on investments in medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries.

Spitznas Maschinenfabrik, headquartered in Velbert, develops, manufactures, and sells pneumatic and hydraulic tools, hydraulic spare parts for pumps and motors, and compact hydrostatic transmissions. Its products are used in mechanical engineering, plant construction, mining, steel construction, metalworking, underwater applications, and in the dismantling of nuclear power plants.

Transtools, a wholesaler of hand-held tools and supplier of mechanically manufactured Spitznas parts, is the exclusive Spitznas distributor in Poland.
