Who:
All companies that have personal information of EU citizens or that conduct business in the EU, regardless of their home country, must comply with the GDPR.
Why:
Because the GDPR mandates Accountability and demonstrating Compliance, and large monetary fines of up to EUR 20 million or 4% of global annual revenues will be imposed on companies for non-compliance.
