New partner within SKW Schwarz’s Corporate/M&A division

At the beginning of the year, Corporate/M&A expert Dr. Andreas Müller-Driver joined SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte as a new partner. Before moving to SKW Schwarz’s Munich office, the 38-year-old worked for Heymann & Partner Rechtsanwälte in Frankfurt.

Dr. Müller-Driver’s consultancy work focuses on company purchases and investments (LBO, MBO, private equity, venture capital), financing (credit financing, capital market/stock exchange) and all issues relating to corporate law. During the financial crisis, he was also heavily involved in the restructuring of companies. His most recent work included advising a leading American IT company making an acquisition in Germany as well as automotive suppliers on restructuring matters and Tom Tailor on its IPO.

Dr. Müller-Driver began working for Heymann & Partner in April 2005 and became a partner in 2006. From 2002 until 2005, he worked for Willkie Farr & Gallagher – initially at their New York office and then in Frankfurt. He began his professional career back in 2001, working for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Munich.

“With Andreas Müller-Driver, we have yet another specialist whose international experience will help with the strategic further development of our Corporate and M&A practice,” said Dr. Matthias Nordmann, a corporate partner at SKW Schwarz in Munich. “The fact that his work has focused on providing high-quality consultancy services to renowned medium-sized companies makes him an excellent addition to our team.”

“As a law firm, SKW Schwarz has an excellent reputation in the technological sector. With its high-growth, international transaction business, it provides an ideal platform for further developing my practice. I am very much looking forward to working with new colleagues from various offices and specialist divisions,” said Dr. Müller-Driver.
