Following training in insurance and completion of his legal studies, Lothar W Heitmann began work as a lawyer in a noted Hamburg law firm. In 2004 he joined the lawfirm Lorenz-Meyer & Scheer, a partnership which Mr Heitmann continued after the retirement of the founders in summer 2007. The focus of his legal work is on transport and insurance law as well as national and international commercial law.
