Our fees
One often-heard prejudice about legal advice is that lawyers are expensive. Some may be, others are worth their fee in every sense of the word. We believe we are among the latter. Compared to other firms, we offer adequate fees. Our fees are significantly below those of others – and we offer the same quality. However, just to avoid misunderstandings: Advice on commercial law issues is a high-quality service. And that has its price.
There is nothing to say against that, as long as the price is adequate and understandable in relation to the service. We at SKW Schwarz take care that this relationship remains balanced. In fact, we do not try to produce a set number of “billable hours” – and that helps to achieve our goals.
We ensure cost transparency at every stage of an assignment. We take into account everything for which we can make a reliable estimate. At the same time we inform our clients about uncertainties and do not estimate the costs of services we cannot reliably calculate. We ensure a regular monitoring of expenses during the time we work on a project and can report at any time which service was provided at which date and at what cost.
