SKW Schwarz advises Spandex Group's German subsidiary and Management
SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte advised Spandex’s German subsidiary H. Brunner GmbH and its Management in the takeover of Swiss-based Spandex AG by private equity investor Gilde Buy Out Partners and Spandex Senior Management.
Spandex is the world’s leading supplier to the digital print and display industry and specializes in the sales, distribution and support of digital printing, cutting, routing, related materials and aluminum sign systems. The company sells worldwide and operates international subsidiaries and affiliates in nine countries. For this reason, it was necessary to take into account several jurisdictions and to coordinate numerous parties to the transaction.
As regards the acquisition from U.S. based Gerber Scientific Inc., SKW Schwarz advised Spandex Senior Management jointly with its partner firms from international network First Law International (FLI NET). The cooperation with FLI NET has allowed SKW Schwarz to successfully complete numerous multinational transactions and proceedings to date.
