SKW Schwarz expands expertise in fashion with Partner Georg Delhaes
As of January 2012, lawyer Georg Delhaes (56) will join the “Intellectual Property” Practice Group at SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte in Frankfurt am Main. The former in-house counsel of Hong Kong-listed worldwide active luxury goods group Egana Goldpfeil will join the law firm as Partner.
Georg Delhaes has extensive experience in the fashion, luxury accessories and watch industries. In these sectors, he acted as lead counsel on the restructuring of renowned groups and their brand portfolios, such as Junghans, Joop!, Sioux and Salamander between 2000 and 2005. From 2007 to 2009, he was General Manager of EganaGoldpfeil Europe (Holdings) GmbH and of EganaGoldpfeil Deutschland GmbH in Offenbach am Main. As in-house counsel, he was primarily responsible for matters of trademark and design law, licensing and distribution law in Germany and abroad. After the group had dissolved, he provided legal advice to fashion label Akris, bag producer Comtesse, watch manufacturers Dugena and Junghans as well as to Esprit and Puma.
